Meet the Film Festivals is a opportunity for filmmakers to expand their industry contacts and speak with the programmers who are behind some of the top Canadian and international festivals. This is a chance to find out what they are looking for, and promote your work across established film festivals and emerging cinema platforms. Filmmakers learn what film festivals are truly worth your entry fee.

Now in its 25th year, it is based in the heart of London's buzzing West End film district.  Raindance showcases features, shorts and music videos by filmmakers from the UK and around the world to an audience of film executives and buyers, journalists, film fans and filmmakers. This talk delves into the delicate balancing act that comes with creating engaging, honest content, that also speaks to a brand's core values.

DIRECTING ACTORS
  

When: Friday, November 11

Time: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Where: Carlton Cinema 

Communication between directors and actors is imperative to the making of a quality film.  This session will be an informal mix between directors and actors focusing on how directors can connect with actors.  Actors here's your chance to question directors about how to connect with them when it comes to making indie films. Directors here's an opportunity to discover and network with talented actors for your next film. Directors whose short films have selected to screened in this years festival are invited to participate.
